How to request account deletion

   Email support@vaara.ai from the email address linked to your Vaara Parents account.

   Use the subject line Vaara Parents — Account deletion request and include your registered email address. If you signed in with Google, include that Google email.

   We will verify ownership of the account and confirm deletion by email, usually within 7 business days.

Data deleted when your account is removed

When deletion is completed, we delete or de-identify personal data tied to your account, including:

• Account credentials and profile (email, display name, anonymous handle, avatar)
• Child profiles you added (nickname, school, grade, curriculum, date of birth if provided)
• Location and community details (postal code, locality, apartment community)
• Optional contact details shared for disclosure (name, phone, flat/block)
• Circle posts, comments, polls, and marketplace listings you created
• Direct messages and connection requests
• Push notification tokens and in-app notification preferences
• Photos and videos you uploaded to Vaara

Data that may be kept

• Safety and abuse records — limited report or moderation records may be retained where required to investigate abuse or comply with law.
• Backups — encrypted backups may retain deleted data for up to 30 days before automatic purge.
• Aggregated analytics — statistics that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained.

Delete some data without deleting your account

To remove specific content (for example a post or photo) or update personal details without closing your account, email support@vaara.ai with what you want removed. You can also block parents and report conversations inside the app.
